Measles Alert: Philadelphia Health Department Issues Caution Amid Recent Cases

Philadelphia is experiencing a measles outbreak with 8 confirmed cases (7 in Philadelphia, 1 outside). Despite 93 percent vaccination coverage in local children, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health urges unvaccinated individuals to seek the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine, which is available for free at City Health Centers.
