Victim Support Program

What is PCA’s Victim Support Program?

The Victim Support Program (VSP) is a free service for Philadelphians who are 60 years of age and older and are victims of crime. VSP’s main purpose is to address your needs by working with you to help you recover. The program connects survivors of crime with victim assistance and victim compensation.

How Does PCA’s Victim Support Program Work?

If you are an older Philadelphian who has been a victim of crime, you will be evaluated by PCA staff for further assistance. If referred to PCA’s VSP, you will be assigned a Victim Support Coordinator to help you successfully navigate areas including: the legal system; social services; healthcare; interpretation services; emergency assistance to help with transportation; shelter; food and many other services.
