Delay announced for $50 fresh produce vouchers for older adults
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture recently announced that there will be delays in voucher deliveries for the 2023 Senior Famers Market Nutrition Program. Additionally, the amount being received is larger than previous years. This year, each eligible older adult will receive five $10 vouchers for a total of $50, an increase from the previous year’s allotment of $24 total.
At this time, new dates for voucher distribution have not been set. Older adults are advised to disregard the previously released dates. New distribution dates will be announced once the vouchers are delivered.
