On Monday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m., the Senate Special Committee on Aging will hold a field hearing in Pennsylvania titled, “Securing Social Security: Accessing Payments and Preserving the Program for Future Generations.”  

This hearing will highlight the importance of Social Security for older Pennsylvanians and people with disabilities. It will also examine the need for increased Congressional investment to improve and strengthen the delivery of Social Security benefits and to preserve the program for future generations.
