Chronic Pain Self-Management Program (Held via Phone)
Dates: Tuesdays – February 14, 21, 28, March 7, 14 and 21
Time: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
In this six-week Chronic Pain Self-Management Program, participants will learn tips and strategies to take charge of chronic pain and address problems such as poor sleep, fatigue, isolation, and frustration. Additional topics include:
- How to increase involvement in everyday activities
- Physical activity
- Nutrition
- Pacing
- The power of the mind to reduce pain
- Medication usage
- Evaluation of new treatments
