PCA to host a free Positive Self-Management workshop for older adults living with HIV

Want to take charge of your HIV and general health? Become a self-manager! PCA, in partnership with the LGBT Elder Initiative, is offering a six-week workshop that is part of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. This program is free to those age 60 and older. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this course will be offered virtually. Participants with HIV will learn new ways to take charge of their health and learn tops to manage symptoms, nutrition, pain, medication, stress, depression, fatigue and overcome physical limitations.

Workshop Details:

This six-week program will meet on Tuesdays via Zoom beginning on May 25. Participants will receive course materials, including the book Living a Healthy Life with HIV in the mail at no cost.

Dates: May 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
