Martin Luther King Older Adult Center – PDR
The Martin Luther King Older Adult Center is sponsored by the City of Philadelphia Department of Recreation and receives partial funding from the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Offers congregate meals recreation education transportation counseling volunteer programs and health services.
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On August 28, 2017, the Martin Luther King Older Adult Center moved to 2100 W. Cecil B. Moore Ave. in North Central Philadelphia. The building that formerly housed the center, just across the street at 2101 W. Cecil B. Moore Ave., continues to operate as a recreation center for children and adults.
