Legal Services

PCA subcontracts with three legal services agencies which provide legal services, educational workshops for older adult groups and representation for elder advocacy groups.
These providers assist individuals over age 60 with a comprehensive range of legal issues including wills, benefits, taxes, small claims court, landlord-tenant disputes, mortgage problems, consumer protection issues and abuse problems. Priority is given to consumers with the greatest social and economic need.

Services are provided through:
Community Legal Services Aging and Disabilities Unit; SeniorLAW Center; and Temple University’s Elderly Law Project.
Each provider handles specific kinds of legal issues, as listed below.
