Senior Community Centers
Adults age 60 or older will find a warm welcome at 25 Senior Community Centers and 14 satellite centers located throughout Philadelphia. Senior Community Centers offer older adults an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy recreational and educational activities, participate in group trips, and explore a variety of interests and hobbies.

Senior Community Centers also provide programs on health promotion and healthy lifestyles, nutrition education and fitness. Access to a variety of services is provided, among them transportation, legal assistance and volunteer opportunities.

With 39 locations, the senior community center network serves more than 25,000 older Philadelphians each year. Activities at individual centers vary, and may include computer classes, art and music classes, exercise, dance, and social, educational and cultural activities.

Lunch is served at all centers, Monday through Friday.
