Home-delivered Meals

Home-delivered meals are available from PCA for eligible homebound seniors. Meals arrive hot or frozen depending on the consumer’s needs. All meals meet one-third of the Dietary Reference Intakes of older adults and comply with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

Eligibility
Consumers who wish to receive home-delivered meals through PCA undergo an assessment to determine their eligibility. Some of the eligibility requirements include: the inability to cook, food shop, or attend congregate meal programs; living alone and not having someone available who can help prepare meals, or lacking the financial resources to meet their nutritional needs.

For more details, contact:
The PCA Helpline at 215-765-9040

Other services are available for those who don’t qualify for meals through PCA. Individual agencies should be contacted for eligibility requirements.
