Educational Opportunities

Training & Conferences 
Throughout the year, PCA offers a wide range of training and personal development opportunities for professionals and others who work for agencies in the aging network. These include classes to develop writing skills; CPR certification; grantsmanship seminars; stress reduction workshops; and certificate programs.

PCA's 2008-2009 Training Catalog is Now Available. Seatswill be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to PCA staff and current PCA sub-contractors. Additional slots will be made available to other community-based organizations within Philadelphia county. All registration applications should be faxed to Kim R. Mental Health & Aging Certificate Program: Fall-Winter 2008

PCA's Training department is accepting registrations for the upcoming Fall-Winter edition of this unique program - jointly sponsored by PCA and the City of Philadelphia's Office of Mental Health (OMH). This comprehensive program is targeted for both staff in the mental health and aging system and anyone who works directly or indirectly with older Philadelphians who may be dealing with any of a variety of mental illness-related issues. Participants meet for 15 sessions over the 5 month period from September to February.
