President & Board of Directors

President
Philadelphia Corporation for Aging President Rodney D. Williams has led the agency since 1973, bringing it from a small social service agency to one of the largest non-profit organizations in Philadelphia and the fourth largest Area Agency on Aging in the country. Mr. Williams reports to the Board of Directors and is charged with management and supervision of all agency operations.

Board of Directors
As PCA’s governing body, the Board maintains full power and authority to direct the actions of a Pennsylvania nonprofit organization. The Board consists of a minimum of nine and a maximum of 15 uncompensated Directors. Two-thirds must live and work in Philadelphia and a majority must be older than 60 years of age. A 15-member Advisory Council provides the Board of Directors with advice on the development and administration of PCA programs, the Area Plan for Aging Services and the annual budget.
