Crisis Grant Program (DHS and PCAO)
Assists low-income households who are in a “crisis” situation with their winter heating source. Eligibility restrictions apply. Accepts applications from November to April each year.
Emergency Heater Repair Hotline (operated by ECA)
Year-round program aids low-income homeowners whose heaters are in need of immediate minor repairs (up to $2000). If the repair costs >$2000 the homeowner will be referred to PHDC Basic System Repair Program. Income guideline is 150% of poverty level.
