Celebrate Arts and Aging
Philadelphia Corporation for Aging presents the 12th annual Celebrate Arts and Aging during May. Held in observance of Older Americans Month, this month-long, city-wide celebration includes exhibits of senior art; special senior discounts to arts and cultural venues; and performances, classes, and workshops for seniors. Support for this event is generously provided by PECO.
R. Louisa Wismer’s watercolor, “Italian Market,” above, was chosen as the signature piece for PCA’s Celebrate Arts and Aging festivities, and will be on display at the Free Library of Philadelphia — Parkway Central, throughout May.
