PHA - Lucien E. Blackwell Homes

Lucien E. Blackwell Homesis a 356-unit community consisting of recently rebuilt apartments and 2-story townhomes in West Philadelphia. There are 26 "accessible units.” Most of these homes are equipped with garages/driveways and all units have central air conditioning, garbage disposals, dishwashers, wall-to-wall carpeting, and washer/dryer hook-ups. All units are also telephone and cable ready. Residents have access to the on-site computer lab. 

Center City is within a short ride, as is the Park West Town (a shopping plaza with a Lowe's and a ShopRite). The Lancaster Avenue shopping district is also close by.

Several SEPTA routes serve the neighborhood, including the 31 Bus, the 64 Bus, and the 10 Trolley.
